Purchased as a gift for my son who wanted to get into black powder deer hunting. Simple to build, we spent about 18 hours carefully building, fitting the parts and finishing. It’s fun to shoot and extremely accurate. At 50 yards 70gr Pyrodex, 180gr round ball, a 3 round grouping was 3” high & 1” left and was about 4” across. This was immediately after build and ZERO adjustment to the sites. The only downside to the firearm is the ram rod. In my opinion it’s too flexible unless you use a 6” ball starter, then it seems to be ok. Not great but ok.
