We have designed this muzzleloader to be lightweight, easy to shoot and incredibly accurate for a very modest price. It doesn’t matter your experience, the Deerhunter muzzleloader will fit your needs. 24” Octagonal performance barrels have a 1:48” rate of twist and are secured in a rugged synthetic or wood stock for excellent balance and superb handling. The Deerhunter barrels are designed to shoot full bore-sized bullets, saboted bullets and patched round balls accurately. The Williams™ Fiber Optic Metal sights are fully adjustable and give you pinpoint accuracy in regular and low light conditions.
This model is .50 caliber and for right-handed shooters.

Wow. I was not expecting such a great platform. I chose this package as my first muzzleloader. My dad has been a muzzleloader member at our local areas and I always thought flintlocks are just more fun to shoot but this model was so much better than I thought it would be. The rifle is lightweight and balanced very well. I like the shorter length because that's what I'm most familiar with by mainly being an avid AR guy, this ML just felt right. I absolutely love it. The only thing that keeps me from giving it a 5 star rating is the Frizzen. It's very narrow and completely flat which doesn't allow a long flint to drag and build up reliable sparks in the flash pan, causing a few missfires and the spring for the frizzen is very stiff but maybe that'll just break in. The fiber sights are very crisp and bright, even in these typical ohio overcast skies, they glow and makes sight alignment effortless. Maybe I'll replace the frizzin if I can find one that fits or maybe I just need to slightly reprofile the flint. I love this model and I can't wait to drop a deer with it. Great work Traditions. 👍👍
